There was an article in this weeks Property weekly which mentioned that an understanding has been reached between Cityscape management & RERA banning sales in the halls this year. This is to avoid people falling over each other to grab pieces of property.

It also said that Cityscape was a business to business event after all and there is no stopping anyone to exchange cards and sealing the deal stepping out for a coffee or otherwise.

I find that hard to believe given that several developers are currently not giving out details about several resorts and/or schemes until the show, so they're obviously looking to market these properties at consumers at the show as well as b2b contacts, aren't they? For example, the much vaunted Vertical City mega-tower isn't saying a thing until Cityscape. Surely they don't expect people to not then buy at the event?
