Thanks Neil.
Also in reply to your earlier post regarding Deliese doing the furniture. How come they have been elected to do the installs.I have already had one installation done by this company, and will not be going down that road again.I think there should be various options for this to be done and Pyramisa should be involved, and perhaps they should look at previous installments by Deliese, before anything is set in stone.

Hi demon, they are only an option you don't have to use them. Pyramisa are offering their own furniture packages and i am sure you can use which ever supplier you want (if needed i can check that for you). I have attached the Pyramisa furniture package details below. After last time i am a little reluctant to send out emails with the updates, i have lots of info and will post here what i can.

That would be good if you could sort this out Neil.My other apartment that was done by Deliese, still is not complete after paying in full 12mths ago. Also the quality of the goods are dredfull. There is no way there goods will stand up to the wear and tear of being rented. What really gets me down with their furniture,is that you pay high end prices for low end goods. If the package was cheap,it would all be relavent, but sorry to say, this is not the case.I feel sorry for their installation workers,as they have to do all the fire fighting for Nina.Who is the most unproffessional person i have ever had any dealings with.Obviously, this is just my account of Deliese.

I promise that I won't bite your head off Neil if you send me update mails. And I am still waiting for your invoice written with invisible ink! :-D

Would be a help though if WWD and Pyramisa could get together and tell us what when where and who!

I'm also always interested in updates, especially those that come with invoices written with that magic invisible ink :)

Pyramisa Owners Club

Just to add up to Neil's post, 1 week in any of Pyramisa club per year for 10 years, it is covered only for accomodation and 20% discount on services, if you buy all inclusive I would suggest it varies from hotel to hotel - in Sahl Hasheesh Pyramisa you would pay EUR 35 per person per day for all inclusive.

Regarding free accomodation, you get a similar sized room in a hotel as your purchased one let us say in Sunset Pearl, that is if you have a studio, you should not be expecting to stay in a suite in Pyramisa hotel with the same conditions as noted above.

Thanks for this info, but how will this work. Will we be given ownership cards to show at reception. On my last visit we were gathered together, seated in reception, and had to be escorted around the hotel. Not a very friendly approach to a purchaser. What if this was one of my guests trying to gain access. If we wre given 20% discount,is this off the price of a day pass also. When will the purchasers be given this information, the only info i am being given about Pyramisa is through this forum.Surely there should be some form of purchasers pack being sent out to us all.
Thanks for your info.

Hey Demon diver,

Do you remember the name of the person who approached you in an unfriendly manner?

Were you trying to buy in Pyramisa or other projetcs by this developer?

Please note that only the occupants of the room get the discount of 20% (or EUR 35 for inclusive if chosen): that means any guests visiting you in the hotel will not be granted the discount. You as any resident in Sahl Hasheesh will have a resident card, not only to enter residential complex but also Sahl Hasheesh itself, as later on the entrance for any non-resident is planned to be charged.

Hi demon and other purchasers, i have received a reply back from Pyramisa reference your comments. They were not aware that purchasers at Sunset had received this treatment and due to the fact the development has not yet been completed they had not yet but in place the processes for you to use the hotel, i hope the following statement from Pyramisa's Vice-President will answer the above questions.

As the hotel is operated on All Inclusive basis, visits of outsiders has to be prearranged through the agents and the reception to avoid any inconvenience for the visitors. All guests are welcome to the hotel . As none of the clients has completed yet, the hotel has no information about them yet.

Upon completion, owners will be given a free membership card as Pyramisa Owners Club , by this card they will have free entrance to the hotel and 20% discount on their consumption in the hotel.

When we went in April we were dealt with very brusquely by a less than helpful security guard. We would have like to have been able to buy a coffee in the hoteal (as you can in any hotel around the world). BUT we had to go to the front desk and try to get someone to understand what we wanted and they were not very friendly at all. Not as if we were asking much in my opinion. When we returned a few days later with the WWD agent we again had to 'run the gauntlet' with the security guard who took our passports, which I wasn't very happy with. Fortunately WWD rep was recognised by 1 of the management and we were then given a tour of the hotel but sadly, by this time, my views of it were very jaded by the less than welcoming treatment. I hope their attitude changes.

And has anyone heard from Pyramisa or WWD as to what is going on? Its now only 2 months away from January, the date that we were informed by Delise furniture that our apartments will be finished!!!! I know, Neil, that you pass on information but this is down to 2 companies that are 'playing' around with people's investments. I've emailed WWD for information a few weeks ago but as yet have received NOTHING. I wonder how quickly the final payment will be needed when the apartments are handed over and how long it will take them to count all my 1 Euro coins that I have been saving.

As a purchaser at Sunset Pearl,i wanted to look around the hotel in which we are linked, mainly so i can tell anyone that will be renting my apartment what they would be getting for their money. When we got to reception we were told to sit down and wait for a member of staff to come over.1hr later,we asked where this member of staff was,on his way we were told.At this i started to wonder around the lobby area, and suddenly a member of staff appeared to escort me around in a very abrupt manner. This is not what i expected from the Pyramisa.I am so glad i had no visitors with me who were they to rent my apartment in the future.Very dissappointed with Pyramisa, and the way the whole thing was handled.

It was very much the same when I visited the Pyramisa. I suppose though you have got to take into account that the apartments are not completed and the staff who work at the Pyramisa probably know very little about how things will be set up once complete, remember it is Egypt!! Once you produce a Pyramisa card I am sure we will all be treated differently.
I must say though I think that the current set up between Pyramisa and WWD is a shambles, like was said previously Sunset is 2 months from completion and everyone is still awaiting an official statement backed up with legal documents.
I am due out to Hurghada/Sahl Hasheesh on 5th December where I would like to visit my apartment and would at like to at least be collected from my hotel (on time) and taken for a tour of the development but how things stand who will be providing this service?
The last 2 times I have visited and WWD have supposed to be collecting me no one has turned up at the hotel. The 1st occassion was when we were dealing with DPC and after many calls I got the number of the Egyptian guide and actually arranged the visit directly with him. The 2nd occassion no one turned up and we walked to Desert Pearl spoke to a WWD rep and then waited there 2 hours for our guide to take us to Sahl Hasheesh.
Not the best customer service in the world is it!!

I have been speaking to WWD who stated Pyramisa are not taking control of sunset etc only the rental side, has anyone heard the same?
also they are now selling the remaining apartments in sterling - a studio is going for 53k and with the exchange rate as it now is that works out to be less than what most people have originally paid.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I have heard a few rumours that WWD are keeping control but nothing has been confirmed. I have not heard that they are selling units off in sterling though, personally it would not surprise me if the prices dropped. I always thought it was bizarre that all the units were the same price with people getting the best units on a first come first basis. Property is normally sold individually with the location and views being taken into account.
If they are doing this though there must be a claim so that people who have already purchased can pay the remainder in Sterling and not Euros.

49 sqm studios from GBP 55.664 to be exact. The base price is in EUR though and depends on the floor.

As far as I know the whole marketing and sales process from not so long time ago is transferred by Pyramisa to Platinum Investments to manage.

No we've been up the sterling/euros route with WWD and final payment will DEFINITELY be in the currency stated on your contract, for us, that's in Euros sadly. And as the apartments aren't due for completion, according to contracts, does this mean we can defer final payment till then, hoping the pound will have gained against the euro?
All this confusion over Pyramisa/WWD is really starting to annoy me now. I have a furniture package lined up ready to be paid for but can't because these 2 companies seem to find it impossible to inform the 'owners' what the hell is going on. I am starting to wonder why we decided to invest. :(

I have reserved my euros for the final payment at 1.285, which at the time I thought I was daft but decided to listen to the advice I was given, I'm glad I did now!

As for the WWD/Pyramisa confusion I have to agree totally fed up with it now, I to wish I had not bothered. I am due out to Hurghada at the beginning of December and have another one of the those WWD inspection request forms, you know the ones you fill them out with the time and date you want to inspect and NO ONE TURNS UP!!

The only good thing is that regardless of all the problems the developments are getting completed, so at least we should have something to see for our money.
