As the number of students in further education continues to grow, so does demand for student accommodation. Indeed many major property companies around the world are now looking towards the student property market as a means of obtaining attractive rental yields and long-term income streams.

Worth Dipping Into The Student Accommodation Market!

Possibly time to resurrect this topic?

We have recently, within the last six months, added a small stock of recently converted 'wharf-into-residential' type developments in Bournemouth, Nottingham and Liverpool and they have all offered (and provided) considerable returns on a minimal investment.

Quality student accommodation is always welcomed and in demand, especially if the management companies have a good relation with the major local educational establishments accommodation officers!

Hi Nick

I hear that many of the larger property investment companies are now looking towards student accommodation as a long term income stream with particular emphasis on the University cities up and down the UK.

After years of ignoring student accommodation it seems that it is going to be attracting some larger investments in the years to come. Where do you see the more attractive local markets in the UK?
