Not sure how you think it could be threat if they are buying property with the funds they have raised. Its just a collective investments scheme with the profits being shared.

I think it was only a matter of time before crowd funding came to the property investment sector. It has been used for raising funds for so many other things then why not property investment.

I guess some level of Government control will be required because buying a widget for £10 via crowd sourcing is VERY different to buying a 50% share in a Mayfair mansion.
