Fiscal Card

Hi. I have a Fiscal Card for a Villa that I inheriated shares in some years ago.

I have since got married and need to change my name on the Fiscal card, does anyone know the best way to do this?

Also, do I need it get my name changed on the deeds of the Villa as well?

The Fiscal card should be personally named and is personal to that person unless the property is in an offshore company name. You will have the same card for the years to come and it is quite simple to go to the Finanças with proof of address and name (passport) and they will change it for you. It is VERY importanat that you change the name on the deeds but this really should of been done by now. I hope this helps you.
