Can anyone give me info on ferry crossings to Sharm? ie

How much,
How often
and how long does it take??

Slow ferry:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Departs at 9:00 am
Arrives at 3:00 pm
Fare: LE 100 ($30.00)


Fast ferry:
Monday, Thursday and Saturday
Departs at 6:00 pm Arrives at 7:30 pm
Fare: Egyptians LE 90, Foreigners $40 USD


HURGHADA TO SHARM EL-SHEIKH
Slow ferry:
Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
Departs at 9:00 am Arrives at 3:00 pm
Fast ferry:
Monday
Departs at 5:00 am Arrives at 6:30 am
Thursday and Saturday Departs at 8:00 am Arrives at 9:30 am

Boats leave from the main harbor in Sharm El-Sheikh


This is the info I go when doing a quick search of the net. Quite pricey, probably near the same going by plane if you book early enough!!

The ferry port is about twenty minutes from naama bay so also include the price of a taxi into the equation

Just small note be aware that ferry Schedule could be changed in any time according to weather situation and boat maintenance.

I heard also IFF don't make this boat trip between hurghada and Sharm any more and tehere is another one called united lines which use a smaller boat and don't put cars on board
