I'm thinking of buying a $41,000 Euro Sofia Apartment outright. I'm hearing a lot of conflicting info.

Are rentals in High Demand?
How hard is it to find good tenants?
What're some common scams to watch out for?
How much of a pain is it to get renovations done? Are contractors licensed or bonded?

I have friends there some of them are landlords and the others are tenants. It is quite easy to rent your property there but it is not that easy to say whether you will find proper tenants. There are some really slovenly people, while others keep the rental units like new. The renovation is definitely not expensive especially compared to UK and AU. Also most contractors are licensed you can search for them in the newspaper ads. Good luck
