It really does not make any difference whether you are a follower or a leader as to make money you need to play to your particular strengths. At the end of the day all investment decisions will be down to you and you will reap the benefits or pay the price depending upon how successful you are! If you are not comfortable going out on a limb after carrying out your own research then don’t do it. In many ways this is a confidence issue which could change over the years as you become more confident in your ability to research and spot potential niche investment opportunities. However, ultimately maximise your strengths and minimise your weaknesses.
