You need to pick the most appropriate property for the area at the best price and offering the best return - whether this is through an outright sale or renting out the property. Many areas in the UK have a rental value ceiling therefore buying a property which may go above and beyond the maximum rental value might be counter-productive.

We have all bought properties in our early years which appeared to be much better than they actually were. Property investment, like any other type of investment, is a learning curve but as long as you continue to learn, eventually you will get it right.
