Thank you for welcoming me to the site.
I'm Ruth and I've recently started as a freelancer for a real estate agency in Dubai. I won't mention the name as I'm not here to generate business but rather get a feel for how other people perceive the Dubai real estate market at the moment.
This isn't my only career - I've spent the last 25 years in advertising, PR and publishing which I still do on a freelance basis for clients here and in the UK. However, a fresh start for me, my husband and our two children here in Dubai also meant looking for new challenges and the real estate market seemed as good as any.
I'm looking forward to learning from you all and perhaps contributing towards the discussions. In the meantime, thanks once again.
