Hi everyone,
My friend and I have decided to purchase a property together.
We have decided to own the property under Tenant in Common
I have been in contact with our conveyance and asked her to draw us a Declare of Trust document.
She however has advised although we buy the property under Tenant in Common and we hold Declare of Trust document, we still need each other's permission to sell the property. I cannot sell my part of ownership without the consent of my business partner. the convoy has explained because we are both registered proprietors on the title.
Could you please advise why
