While there have been glimmers of hope in some European property markets the property trend across Europe has been difficult to say the least. In Spain and Portugal we have an array of banks looking to dump their unwanted properties onto the market while in the UK the market goes from strength to strength – two very different ends of the market.
Contrarian investment styles would suggest that European property markets will at some stage look attractive to long-term investors even if the short-term situation is clouded in uncertainty. What do you expect of the European property market as a whole and which individual property markets are you watching?
