Dear British colleagues,
I'm a spanish investor used to house flipping in Spain (Barcelona and Valencia).
I'm doing well in my niche of expertise but looking for new markets. And I was thinking to do some BTL in the UK (maybe using my flipping skills to maximize the purchase). Part of the reasons to check for BTL in the UK and not in Spain, is because in Spain is very difficult to get a mortgage on a house that you're renting (the spanish banks have a huge stock of property),also, because my feeling is that the market is going to go down in the next 2 years.
What do you recommend me to start networking and get some hints about good towns to start? I was thinking in Manchester or Liverpool... I want to buy 50k properties...
My english is good for spanish standards (I was living in Scotland for a while) but will not some improvement if I want to get better on negotiation skills...
