Overseas property investors snapped up nearly 75% of all new build properties in London in the last two years or so. Chinese property investors are one of the largest sub-groupings of these investors so the influence in London is large.

I've recenlty read an article about The Global Economy and the U.S. Real Estate Market in Huffington post and it says that Chinese real estate is not in good condition. China narrowly missed its growth target of 7.5% last year, making it the slowest year of growth in a quarter century. And Hong Kong commercial real estate, being under this change is set to flactuate as well.
