Average house prices jumped 16,000 last year ! Carney the bank chief says he cannot control them, as the average asking price is above 250,000
Just when will it stop ?

There will come a point when the UK property market as a whole will stall, we may even see a short-term correction, but in the longer term the trend will always be up. The main reason for this is the lack of affordable housing which places more pressure upon properties which become available thereby pushing prices higher.

Don't forget the election next year - the government needs a feel good factor to stand any chance of re-election.
