    I want to sell my property but do not want to be tied to one agent as, having done this before, one can pick the wrong agent and then be tied to them for too long while they do nothing or try to manipulate you because they know they are sole agent and think they can. Has anyone else done this?

    Does France really welcome foreign investment in real estate?

    The estate agents certainly welcome foreign investors! In South of France i.e. Cote d'Azur, Alpes Maritimes, the high end properties mostly sell to foreigners. However the French expect foreigners to speak French - unlike in Spain - where a lot of English is spoken.
