    Invest US - Exit Stratgey

Don't bother about not being heard. It's when the forum censors come along and delete entire threads you have to worry about  Don't worry about how it could possibly help the public from dealing with these thieves. All it takes is the company heads to come along, make a post about how...

    US Invest

Firstly Ryan, In all of the 21 posts that I have made I have not once self promoted myself but simply participated in the forum discussions.....none of which I started. So you have it wrong my boy. Like I have told you on other forums I DO NOT SELL real estate or promote real estate in the USA...

    US Invest

Hey Roundy, The North Dakota hotel investments do offer very high returns but be wary....you are buying hotel rooms and you do not have title over hotel rooms so you are in this investment with a bunch of other investors and only have a share amongst others. I see danger down the track.

    US Invest

Thanks Owendale. Seems like we are fighting the same cause although I am not in the selling game....just an investor who likes to right some wrongs he sees happening. Was it difficult or did you extra hoops to jump through to get what I assume is a Florida Real Estate License when your in the UK ?

Where is the cheapest place to buy property in America?

Hi Roundy, Obviously your talking some sort of hands off real estate investment or you wouldn't be on this forum. I can tell you for a fact that buying real estate is not a hands off investment.....you'll be dealing with tenants and toilets and emailing or calling your property manager for...

    US Invest

Oper8rNZ, Oddly enough some of these exact same companies that sold overpriced NZ & Australian investment properties now sell US properties. Just proves they are marketing companies at the core and nothing else with only their interests at heart. Yeah I haven't had a need to bring monies back...

    US Invest

oper8rNZ, Lets begin with the membership fee's they charge you to get "exclusive" access to their services and property inventory. Any information they provide is freely available on the web and the property they sell to you are far from exclusive. They are simply referring you on to turnkey...

RVA, Where does one begin ? Okay what specifically are you seeking. Have you narrowed down where to invest, how to invest, what to invest in. ??

Where is the cheapest place to buy property in America?

RVA, If your simply "looking" at this stage then save yourself $995 and don't fall for their traps & marketing strategies. No doubt they have made the whole investing in the US a big mystery and pay them a fee and they reveal you can only buy with their assistance cause they have all the...

Investment property from outside the USA?

owendale. First of all :five::five::five: I agree from an Australian's point of view. Every man & his horse has all of a sudden become experts on US property investing. They all have this big secret and if you pay them a membership fee or buy property through them they will let you in on the...

    USA - Property Investment

If your talking MyUSAProperty run by a Mr Andrew Allen then you have got to be kidding !!:banghead: This company has overcharged for each and every property they sell PLUS charged membership fee's on top again. They have a very very long list of unhappy investors and simply overpromised and...

Investment property from outside the USA?

David I would hazard a guess and think that both yourself & your wife would be treated as foreign nationals....unless your wife files US tax returns ? Nothing much extra involved other then your choices get severely limited. Very little foreign national finance for investment properties except...

Purchasing a Property in Houston (Spring)

Where about's in Spring are you talking ? Do you have a link. I happen to be looking around in Spring myself. I have a few in Dallas. The furthest north I have travelled north of Houston on the I45 is Spring. Don't know the Lake Conroe area. Are you financing the property as a foreign national...

Investment property from outside the USA?

Hi David, Buying in the USA as a foreign national is simple & straightforward to do from Australia. Do you have a specific property in mind, are you wanting finance as a foreign national, are you buying through a "middleman" or company based in Australia selling US real estate ?

Purchasing Property in Atlanta , GA

Hey Padovan, Not a bank....as a foreign national it is hard to get bank lending so tends to be private funding. Not aware of any banks funding foreign nationals in Georgia. Having said that I do have a bank loan on a Phoenix home and a couple of bank loans on some Texas homes I have so...

Best way to Convert Currency AUD--> USD for Purchase

Kruegs, On each occasion that I have closed on my USA purchases I have used OzForex. The first 2 trades are free (banks will charge around $25) and they do a much better exchange rate then the banks. Very transparent and they actually give you the list of banks current spot rates and contact...

What ROI are investors looking for when investing in the US?

It still doesn't matter whether your out of country or not....investing is still a personal thing with investors having different objectives. I know a lot of Australian's are buying and holding US real estate. Two methods I see are those that buy direct from the banks, carry out a refurb and...

Purchasing Property in Atlanta , GA

Hi, I am an Aussie resident as well and have made some great investments in Atlanta so far. With around $50-$70K you should really consider getting a loan for at least 50% which I was able to get as a foreign national. If your not planning on going to the US it does become very difficult to...
