We have Chinese investors looking towards the UK, America, Australia and many other parts of the world. We have UK investors looking towards bombed out market such as Spain and Portugal as well

We have clients from the USA, China and Lebanon buying in Cyprus. The Chinese and Lebanese are buying for PR to give them access to Europe while the Americans are buying to get Cypriot passports and need to spend 2.5 million.
The Brits are no longer buying in large numbers in Cyprus often preferring to rent long term instead.

Hi Veronica, that is a very interesting summary of the Cyprus property market and perfectly illustrates why some investors prefer overseas markets. When you dig a little deeper there is an awful lot more to these “straightforward” situations!

We are currently dealing with investors from many countries including one from Singapore who is looking to build a retirement village.
We seem to get very few British clients these days and for some reason most enquiries we are getting now are investors with a lot of money to spend rather than the retirees who want to buy a place to see out their later years in the sun.

It looks as though many people see good value in the Cyprus property market, maybe the market has now bottomed out?

Hi, I'm new here. Just a thought... investors have different requirements and strategy. As long as you know what they want, give them not only what they want but is good for them... then everyone is happy!
