Which property market offers the best potential?

I would be very interested to learn what other members think about the worldwide property market and which specific markets offer the best value in the longer term. Are you an investor who likes to buy property in demand or do you prefer a contrarian investment approach, picking up property which is out-of-favour in the short term?

It will be interesting to see how the UK property market performs in the medium to longer term after the short-term shock of Brexit is priced into markets. Will anything really change in the UK property market?
