There is much debate as to whether the Spanish real estate market has hit rock bottom or indeed whether there is further to fall. If you are looking to buy Spanish property, at this moment in time, what is the lowest rental yield you would accept?

In a perfect world you would expect and hope for the Spanish economy to drag the real estate sector onto a more even keel. However, unemployment in Spain is out of control, the economy is struggling to say the least and public sector workers are up in arms. Against this background, are there any desperate short term reasons to jump into the real estate sector?

Just one reason in my opinion, property in premium locations are already raising.
Foreign buyers are buying cheap, but spaniards are wanting to invest too. So we should expect raising prices at some locations.
Just my opinion

The rental income has always been quite low in Spain however with my property I generally look at the summer rentals and sometimes take a 6 month rental in the winter months.
