While there is nothing wrong in having your own opinion it is sometimes advisable to sit back and read the opinions of those who have been there and done it for many years. Whether or not Grosvenor Group is correct in its assertion that the UK property market is due for a fall remains to be seen but the company is prepared to put its money where its mouth is and reduce its property exposure. What more can you ask?

I totally agree, there is nothing wrong listening to the opinions of those who have been there and done it in the world of property investment. Grosvenor Group may get it wrong but their advice seems to be based upon cold hard facts. While this will discount human nature there is nothing wrong in looking at the figures.

How often do we see experts in the newspapers with a very strong opinion but not always willing to put their money where their mouth is? I think those experts who talk publicly about prospects for the short, medium and long-term property market who are willing to act on their own advice are worth listening to. Even if they are wrong they tend to have a good explanation as to why they took a particular stance.
