Hello ,
I want to send a large amount of money to Qatar from India. I need to clear some loans that I have taken in Qatar as soon as possible.
I have searched and enquired a lot about this money transfer process. I went to ICICI and SBI outward remittance and they are charging like 15% of the amount to be transferred and also a lot of documented proof of this amount. It is tough to arrange it all so fast and also since the amount is big I wont be able to manage paying 15% as service charge.
I have heard about cheques and DD also that parents can send cheques as gift but I could not find much information about this as to how much the limit is and how many times it can be sent and payable to whom.
Thirdly there is Paypal money transfer. I checked that the fee involved for sending 10000 US dollars is around 50 dollars. But how many transaction are allowed if I send money in bits. How can I integrate my bank account in India with it? And then how could I withdraw money in Qatar.
What would be the best way which does not involve too high fees or taxes.
