The market for owner-occupied housing is sensitive to changes in market demand and supply. The strength of these factors explains disparities in house price inflation between and within the major regions of the United Kingdom.
I am glad to see the activity levels begin to increase.

Hi there,

The rental market down south seems to be down okish. Demand is ok but rental price went up likely because of low supply.

Still investors should be cautious as the market could go further down pulling pricing down and leaving investors in negative equity or force to do sell their property quickly.

Look out for strong yield to make sure you can cover the mortgage and other expense even if the interest rate go back up.

That would make sure you are not forced into a quick property sale.
