Recent news article excerpt from FT:
"......UK footballers John Terry and Rio Ferdinand have signed a marketing deal with Le Jardin de Fleur in Morocco while simultaneously "reserving" second homes there....."
Notice the word reserving in quotes....I wonder whether "giving away" apartments to stars and name dropping really helps in marketing activities.
I remember Dubai did the same with the palm jumeirah with the beckhams, but I don't think that had any impact on the sales or marketing as such.
Well, in any case, you may end up living next door to Terry or Rio - not sure even whether that is good!
