Townhome or semi-detached, which is the better buy?

I saw an upcoming housing community from Paradise Developments and they're offering both townhomes and semi-detached homes. They actually got detached homes for sale as well but it's not included in our options. We're choosing between a townhome and a semi-detached one, my main question is whether the price difference between the two options be worth it since with townhomes I'll be sharing walls with my neighbor on both sides and I feel like semi-detached would give me a little bit more privacy since it comes with only one adjoining wall.
