Switching from Residential to BTL - Proof of address accepted documents?

Hi all,

We're planning on switching from a residential mortage to BTL early next year however we won't have access to our new flat until 1-2 months after the re-mortgage process needs to be finalised (to avoid paying the variable rate) hence won't have any utility bill as proof of address. Do lenders accept other documents as proof of address such as bank statement?
