Surveyors Etc.

Hello,

I have recently commissioned a survey for a flat that I am thinking of buying.

However, I note that the electrical applicances, supply, underfloor heating, electrical safety and plumbling were not part of the survey. I have not yet seen the report, but met the surveyor after the inspection. I have no reason to suspect problems, the flat is only nine years old and someone is living there.

The estate agent tells me that regarding the underfloor heating

'Regarding underfloor heating and good working order. They (the vendor) will have to do this via their solicitor anyhow as it is one of the questions on the property information form, about is the heating in good working order.'

Does the same apply to the plumbing and the electrics?

Other than a survey (completed),is there anything else that I need to organise.

The solicitor is in place.
