In theory the Spanish property market has been on the verge of recovery for some time now. However, surely any potential recovery will be limited due to the state of the European economy?

The European economy will hold back any short-term recovery but longer term expats still have a large appetite for Spanish real estate.

Good point about expats - they will continue to play a long term role in the recovery of the Spanish real estate market.
