Over the last few years there has been a significant move to protect the countryside, protect green belts and ensure that real estate investment is limited. However, if we look at countries such as the UK the ongoing increase in the cost of property is pricing many people out of the marketplace. It may be that restrictions on so-called "green belt" property projects are helping to push prices higher.
