Selling real estate without a realtor is certainly a challenge because it can be difficult enough even with professional advice. While charges do vary between different realtors very often there are worth the money you pay because they have contacts, they know investors and they have experience putting buyers and sellers together.

We would be interested to hear the experiences and those who have sold property without a realtor and how they found it.

I know a number of investment buyers who only sell their property on Gumtree, this is also the case for the properties they rent out.

What I've seen from his ad's is common sense in a way, if you take some good, bright photos of the property and have it priced at market value or slightly under, you will get the interest. He then books people in similarly to estate agents for an 'open day' so people turn up at staggered times throughout a morning / afternoon so its evident to all prospective buyers there is interest and that therefore means all offers are sensible and not people trying to get a cheap bargain.

Like anything, if you think about what you're wanting to achieve and what you'd look for when buying something, then you should be able to sell your own property, after all, you should know it better than the agent. All the hard work and legal stuff is done by a solicitor after all so once you accept an offer, you just pass on their name and solicitor details to your own and they take it from there.

Home-selling without a realtor is no longer a new concept. As real estate agents usually get 5 to 10% commission of the sale, more and more land-owners opt to perform the transactions themselves. After all, if others can do it, so could they. This could mean extra money too!

Today we have options like OLX or quikr, so a seller can easily buy or sell home online. Its quite easy nowadays.

There's so many classified ads today. Go online. Post an advertisement on Craigslist and be precise in the location. Take good, engaging inside and outside photos and share it via social media – Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest. :)

Exactly selling a house or any real estate is really a very challenging task for homeowners. But it is not so tough that you can't do yourself. If you want to sell your real estate by owner there are few basic things you have to apply like, give advertisement on any famous newspaper, post your property details on social media or tell your friend and relative what you exactly want. They will surely help you to find the best buyer for your real estate asset.
