Hi

I was wondering why a seller would change a closng date after I and others have put in a offer on a empty property that needs total renovation just to fix a damaged bathroom floor?
It was the only 3 on the home report but the bathroom kitchen roof every room and garden need alot of work so don't understand why spend the money on 1 room just the damaged floor and move the closing date? .

Thanks

Possibly the bathroom floor has received further damage after the sale and needs fixing to abide by the terms? It does seem very strange though I admit - even if the bathroom floor was hiding damage and other possible issues, you would check this when you get possession. Very bizarre.

Always concerns me when a fairly straight forward deal suddenly takes an unexpected turn - why would someone delay a closing date to spend money on an asset which has been "sold"?
