I want to clarify some mis-information that is circulating about retirement visas, so that people can plan accordingly. This is the current situation as the resolutions stand right now:
1/ The minimum age is 60.
2/ Private pension funds cannot be used to qualify for this visa.
3/ $2000 per month is good for the applicant and 2 dependants - ie they must be dependant on the applicant. For example an 80 year old mother would qualify, but not a 21 year old daughter.
