Hello! My mother has a bit of a problem. She has this condo unit that's been vacant for almost a year now because of the pandemic. The AC is broken and is in need of repair before she rents it out again. She hasn't repaired the AC because of (again) Covid-19. However, she's a bit tired of going back and forth whenever there's a problem with the unit. The only reason she's renting it out is to pay the loan that she got to buy it. I think it'll take her at least 5 more years to pay it off before the loan is done.
Should she just repair the AC and still rent it out? Or sell the unit altogether and use the money to pay off the rest of the loan but the passive income will disappear?
