Rental Finance in the UAE?

So if I arrive in the UAE and I need to pay rent and get myself organised how the heck do I start.

I know I am waiting for my visa (Soon they say)

I know I need a bank account
I know I need cash / cheques/ finance for my Rent and thats my big problem

Yes I can bring money over and use people such as Global Currency Exchange because its a good deal and cheaper and works.

But my money back home is more expensive to bring over than a rental finance option here.

So what can I do. I saw an article in Property Weekly a week or two ago but has anyone tried them?

I haven't tried that one. have you ask for some help from someone whom you've known in UAE??
