Residential property prices in Dubai are stabilising but there is still no*immediate prospects of a real estate recovery in the Gulf emirate because*of a predicted over supply in 2010, according to reports.

The latest research report from Deutsche Bank indicates that property*prices fell by 4% in the last six months but future over supply could*prevent a near term recovery.

To know whether or not there will be an oversupply in 2010 you would need to know the completion dates of many developments (even the developers couldnt tell you that on their own building) You would also need to know what the population will be in 12 months. This would be largely affected by the economy and how many people leave/move to Dubai.
Therefore to give an accurate prediction on how many units will be delivered next year
and how much of an oversupply there might be is very hard.
