There is no doubt that the real estate market has recently bailed out many investment funds who have seen their equity assets diminish in value. The collapse of the oil price has had a monumental impact upon equity markets. In days gone by oil and gas companies were seen as rocksolid but the fall in the oil price has certainly caught many people out.
