Networking Events

Hi all, I’m thinking of going to a property networking event to meet other investors, just looking for some feedback from anyone who’s been to some events in the past.
Have you found them to be helpful? Have you gone on to work with people you met at an event? Any feedback appreciated, thanks.

I have been to some events over the years and I found them very useful. You will always come across those are over powering and too full on but on the whole the majority are there for the same reason as you, to chat with like minded people.

Networking events definitely have their place and I’d suggest going to as many as you can in your early career and when you’re learning...

While I dont think you can beat good old fashioned hand shaking and eye to eye contact - will we have more video conference events in the future even after Covid-19 has been tackled?
