Moving to Lyons France

Welcome all,
There is a possibility that my family will be transferred to Lyons France. Is there a site that I can look-up accommodations, apartment rentals, and housing? Where would one suggest living in Lyons? I have a 15 month old and a baby due in December. Child friendly pleases! Anything else to keep in mind?

Hi Cade,
I lived 7 yrs in Lyon and have still some Canadian friends up there. Lyon is a very nice place to stay and live and I miss it a lot. There are several associations and organizations helping foreigners to settle down there. You can try to find the web site of the guide "Breaking the ice" (on Google, for ex.): it's a very complete one. Otherwise you can search for "Lyon+foreigners" and you can get a list of useful links. Let me know if I can be of help. France is a very organized country, especially regarding childcare: maybe a bit expensive (my Canadian friends used to tell me so) but especially Lyon is a very lively and not too big town.
