List your home on 17 March for maximum exposure

A report by estate agent Emoov suggests that listing your property on 17 March will give you the greatest exposure over June, which is the busiest month for sales. However, is this really true?

No 2 property markets are the same so how people can suggest that 17 March is somehow the magic day is beyond me. On average, yes, 17 March may be an interesting date to get full exposure to June, but regional markets are very different.

Does anyone have any stats to back up this claim?

Surely if everyone listed their properties during this period, this would increase choice and reduce upwards pricing pressure

DYOR and ensure that you know what makes your local markets tick before listing your property. June may well be the best time to sell but also dont forget that many people will be heading off on their hols in the summer - investing in property might not be uppermost in their minds
