Recent economic data supplied by the Chinese authorities is more "believable" and finally the authorities seem to have learnt they cannot control everything. Market forces are proving to be extremely challenging for the Chinese authorities which is certainly not a bad thing for the future. Will we ever move to a true" free market in Chinese real estate?

The only major problem I have with investing in Chinese property is whether or not the economic data produced by the Chinese government is correct. In the past many experts have questioned the accuracy of official economic data. However, on the plus side there is no doubt that the Chinese economy is growing, the population is expanding and there will be an ever greater need for accommodation in the future.
