Perhaps the best time to acquire buy to let holiday resort investments was in the 80s and 90s when a significant trend towards overseas holidays began to take hold. Many people are now realising there is more choice and more variation in the UK than there was 20 years ago. As a consequence the holiday let investment market is extremely buoyant even during these challenging economic times.

Holiday buy to let investments have always been the quiet gem of the property market for those who are selective in what they buy and where their properties are located. However, it is worrying to see some local councils attempting to ban the purchase of second homes by those not living in the area.
