Hi champs,
Do you know more information about investment in Bulgaria? I red a lot about that country and now I see that it is a very good place to invest in property or in land. I am interested in the Bansko region, which is the best mountain ski resort there. If anyone has good or bad opinion about it please let me know.
Cheers

Hi Drew,
I am very interested in this post.
tim I have gone to the link you have posted and it is very interesting.
how do you get
Average Property Growth: 30.9%

Cost of Living: Exceptionally Low
(approximately ₤10 for a 3 course meal)

Economic Stability and Strong Growth: 4% on average, over the past 10 years

Low Inflation Rates: attracts a significant amount of foreign investment and business growth
and low inflation this to me is not only impossible you can only have high property growth, high growth and that feed inflation so one must be wrong.
I have no interest in investing in Bulgaria but I like the way that you have one person ask a question and then the next answers the post is relatively good marketing to a person that has not seen your product or service but in this case as the name keeps changing and the person answering the post changes also it doesn't do you much use at all. if anything it does you damage because know I have seen the site and will tell my friends and associates to avoid it.

Bulgaria maybe a good investment for Bulgarians or people that have bought and want to get out.
Many Thanks

Be careful in investing in Bansko. Many people have been badly burned. I was nearly one of them. Take your time and you MUST visit before reserving any apartment. I have helped a number of people get out of purchases in Bansko. Usually at a loss.

The point to remember is that you're investing in the long-term - if people are trying to pull a big return in just a couple of years when Bulgaria is possibly nearing the end of its development cycle, then it's not so much Bulgaria or Bansko that's the problem - it's the investor.

There are a number of places that offer Bulgaria and Bansko properties, such as:
World Wide Investments » Bulgaria

But as before, look to the long-term - this isn't stock market trading where you can drop equities every few months. :)

Bulgaria, with regards to investment opportunity was probably a good idea back in 2004 / 05 - I reserved an apartment on the Redenka Complex near Bansko, i later pulled out & took a chance with Morocco, im glad to say ive not looked back... Morocco is now the place to invest, do your research & you will know why, anyone who requires info should contact me, happy to assist / advise

Dear Drew ,

Bansko is the newest winter resort in Bulgaria. In latest years the interest of investments in this region is really big .I could advice you as a manager of a Real Estate agency to be careful and to come here before to buy a property .
On the other hand,Bulgaria real estate prices are by far lower than other destinations in Europe but the acceptance of Bulgaria in the European Union provides unprecedented growth potential that will certainly boost the prices of the Bulgaria real estate in the near future.
The prices for new build houses are still very reasonable and you can purchase a brand new villa for less than 100,000 euros or 70,000 pounds – this represents fantastic value. Alternatively, why not invest in land and ask us to help you build your own dream home?
Bulgaria has one of the most liberal foreign investment laws in the region regarding Bulgaria real estate and foreign investors; therefore buying real estate as a foreigner in Bulgaria is extremely easy. The one thing foreigners should be aware of about buying real estate in Bulgaria is that there are such terms as "tax estimation price" and " purchase price". The "tax estimation price" is for the purposes of real estate taxation and is much lower than the actual selling (purchase) price. Most of the Bulgarian property owners wish that the "tax estimation price" is written in the title deed, and not the selling (asking) price which the buyers are paying, so due to this practice there might be discrepancies between the price you are paying and the price written in the title deed. This is for tax benefit purposes and actually benefits you in the end.
If you need further advices and help by buying property in Bulgaria I could help you .

Cheers ,

Bunsy:)
