"Thailand and India have always held a certain exotic appeal for investors and expats alike"...But what's the reason??

I think the soaring property prices in India coupled with its monolithic bureaucratic process should have been a major impediment for foreign investors. Considering the flow of FIIs in stock markets visavis the real estate sector in India, i feel the stock markets present a better opportunity for investors to make money and exit the market at will rather hold up their investment in Properties.

So this article was quite surprising...
