Wife accepted an offer on her house back in March of this year.

Estate Agent confirmed on 4th March that their due diligence had been completed and that the memorandum of sale had been issued.

However, we are now on 5th July and the buyer still hasn't got a mortgage offer as yet.

The developers of the property that she is buying with the funds from the sale have given her until 15th July or their house goes back on the market.

No contracts have been exchanged as yet for either property.

How much more time does she legally have to give the buyer to obtain a mortgage? Can she pull out of sale without any consequences (financial or legal)

Any help will be gratefully received
