Forget the economy, political uncertainty is the main danger

While many property investors are concerned about the UK economy and the falling pound, they need to focus more upon political uncertainty. We are in a situation the likes of which we have never seen in living history. The government of the day is calling for an election while the opposition are stalling the move. We know the reasons, we know the different strategies and that all parties are looking out for themselves. However, the UK needs an election for political stability.

Politics is a very important factor when looking at a steady economy and good prospects going forward. Just take a look at some of the most volatile countries in the world and they all have volatile political scenes.

Could we really be in a situation where the PM of this country is taken to court for taking action which is within his power? Why are the courts getting involved in political stuff - are we going to be like America soon?

The American political system is a joke - constant talk of impeaching a president must surely take his eye off the ball and away from actually running the country?

Yet more internal fighting amongst the Labour Party this morning! The Tories are literally sitting back doing nothing and letting the opposition rip themselves apart. Under any other leader surely Labour would be miles ahead in the opinion polls? Instead an opinion poll last week suggested they are in third place behind the Liberal Democrats.

We will find out today whether the Supreme Court will be taking an active role in UK politics. It looks as though we are moving towards an American-style of politics.

Politicians continue to fight amongst themselves while they forget the will of the people. If they didnt want to abide by the referrendum then they should not have held one in 2016.

Looks like we might be getting a minority Labour government this week by default. What does the thought of Jeremy Corbyn at Number 10 do to your investment plans?
