Got a price for Thomas Cook flight from Newcastle to Hurghada in July on Monday for £414, it went up to £542 overnight. Looks like its Easyjet at £300 and a drive down to Gatwick, better get booked up quick before that goes up.
From the business section of our local paper:-
Easyjet has just appointed a new commercial manager for the north east, and he has been quoted as saying "Newcastle and the north east have great potential for Easyjet, and my priority will be to build upon Easyjet's reputation as leading low-fares airline by maintaining the success of existing routes and successfully opening up new destinations to the region."
