First Time Buyer: Auction property seller's company number is incorrect

We bought a property through an online auction. Our conveyancing lawyer found the last certified copy transfer deed received was not signed by the buyer (a company) and it includes wrong company registration number (there was a typo on the number) but correct address and Company name.

Also, the Form eDRS submitted is registering for the incorrect Company.
Our lawyer asked the seller's conveyancing lawyers to correct it. But I have only 18 days left to complete the transfer as Auction condition.
Question: Is it possible to resolve this issue by the seller's lawyer within next 18 days? Or should we re consider buying this property if this is not resolved? Or IF we pull out will I lose the deposit. Or if we buy this , what should be the conditions and how difficultuies to correct this.. Any advice will greatly appreciated.
