‘HIPs are history’ says Simply HIP’s Simply HIP - Home managing director Ashley King, after declaring that HIPs were meant to deliver to consumers the ability to deliver a more informed decision, but never did.
From 9 November, Simply HIP are upgrading their HIP orders to something more fit for purpose – an Exchange Ready Pack (ERP),which has been specifically designed to help a buyer’s conveyancer proceed more quickly with the transaction once an offer has been accepted by including some, if not all, of the legal information required to prepare a ‘solicitor’s contract pack’ at the start of the process.
Interesting as HIPs are on the way out according to many in the industry.
