Do you trust politicians to manage the real estate market?

    Whether we like it or not politicians play a major role in the short term direction of real estate markets. Do you trust them?

    I dont!

    Just look at the budget - all smoke and mirrors!

    There is no money to giveaway so they give you some back - via housing stamp duty reductions - but then get it back and more by other means. They are not to be trusted lol

    Always jam tomorrow/smoke and mirrors. Discount the politicians and do your own thing.

    I would be interested to learn what percentage of government plans actually come to fruition. What is the point in planning ahead to 2020 let along further when it is highly likely there will be a change of government at some stage? Governments may like to plan ahead but how can investors trust these plans?
