Are we talking ourselves into a Brexit led housing downturn?

Does nobody find it bizarre that it has taken three years for this self-fulfilling prophecy to even begin to come to fruition? Three years of talking ourselves into a Brexit recession.

It has taken the doom and gloom merchants three years, but they have finally done! Talked the UK into a recession.

Everything is relative - Germany is struggling and France took a big hit in the second quarter. But all of the focus seems to be on the UK ;)

With the political upheaval in Westminister it looks like Boris wont last long in office. However, while Labour moaned that it was unconstitutional for Boris to take over, how is it constitutional to talk like you are already in government even though you will NEVER get a majority of the house - never mind the electorate - under Jeremy Corbyn.

Talk of Jeremy Corbyn becoming a temp PM of the UK is not helping confidence!

Is Boris rattling the EU? They are trying to make it awfully personal.

The pound has collapsed, the economy is starting to struggle, there is political chaos yet the UK property market still remains relatively steady. Could this be down purely to supply and demand? All those years of pent-up demand which have been ignored with a lack of newbuilds?

On the flipside of the coin, many people seem to be forgetting how much money UK investors plough into the European property market. There are areas of Spain which would be decimated if UK property investment was to end overnight. How are they not picking up on these knock-on effects?
